I am a nonfiction business book author who specializes in all facets of digital and social media marketing.
I will publish my 5th book, "Digital Threads: The Small Business and Entrepreneur Digital First Marketing Playbook," on October 1, 2024.
Previously I have published "The Age of Influence," "Maximize Your Social," "Maximizing LinkedIn for Sales and Social Media Marketing," and "Windmill Networking: Understanding, Leveraging and Maximizing LinkedIn."
My first book, "Windmill Networking: Understanding, Leveraging & Maximizing LinkedIn," was written back in 2009 and introduced the world to the power of online social networking on LinkedIn.
I followed that book in 2011 with a business-oriented book about leveraging LinkedIn entitled "Maximizing LinkedIn for Sales and Social Media Marketing." The concepts of social selling and employee advocacy were included in this book before the keywords existed.
As I helped more and more companies with their social media marketing strategy, my next book, "Maximize Your Social." was the playbook to help businesses of all sizes create, manage, and generate ROI from a comprehensive social media marketing strategy. It was published in 2013 with Wiley.
My most recent book, "The Age of Influence," was published by HarperCollins Leadership in 2020, and is the definitive influencer marketing playbook for businesses to collaborate with influencers for a variety of business objectives. It also includes content to help the reader become more influential in social media.
Outside of writing books, I help businesses around the world through their digital transformation of sales and marketing through consulting, training, and helping enterprises large and small develop and execute on social media marketing strategy, influencer marketing, and social selling initiatives.
In addition to founding my own digital marketing agency, PDCA Social, I also teach marketing to executives at Rutgers Business School and UCLA Extension.
Fluent in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, I am also a popular global keynote speaker and have been invited to speak on four continents in more than a dozen countries, including conferences such as CES, CEBIT, MarketingProfs B2B Forum, Content Marketing Conference, and Social Media Marketing World.
